Saturday - August 14, 2010 in Puyallup, Washington
I will be taking part in the Saturday “Art in the Park” event sponsored by Valley Arts United in Pioneer Park in beautiful downtown Puyallup. If you’ve ever driven north through downtown Puyallup or visited the Farmer’s Market, you already know the place!
Watch for my glass jewelry (and… kilnformed glass, and some metal and glass jewelry and even my under $10.00 “Fundangles!”) under the artist demonstration canopy - then stop by and say hello! I will be demonstrating as well so it will be a fun day all around!
Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (p.s. I’ll be ‘eating’ the sales tax on all sales that day- so if you want to save some $$, come on out!)
Major changes on the website……just wait till you see what I’m doing here!! As you may have determined by now, I’m not much for doing the same thing twice…and I get bored looking at the same things for very long…so if you’ve been putting off making that online purchase- your chance may have just passed you by!
I’ve deleted a large number of jewelry pieces. Some will be reworked and become something fresh and exciting, and others are gone forever. (p.s. I don’t believe in Fine Art being put “on sale”- since that only devalues the work- and I don’t believe that it is fair to my collectors who have invested in my work to allow that to happen. Better for an unsold piece of work to be destroyed by my own hand than to allow anything of a potentially lesser value depreciate my other work.)
Did I mention the glass and metal jewelry pieces that will be making their debut at the Art In the Park event???? Oooooh, they are exciting!! (And no, that’s not just my opinion!!) LOL I don’t have a large inventory, and they could disappear quickly, so be sure to stop by and see what all the excitement is about!
Until next month ~ Find a little joy in every day and before you know it, your entire day will be filled with joy!
